Favorite skin care products

Im going to be 30 this year. I literally can not handle it. So as soon as 2018 started I started buying skin care products to help reduce the effects of aging. I know that 30 is the new 20 and blah blah blah but girls you know you feel older every year! New teeny tiny wrinkles pop up, new bumps under the skin, things start to sag, etc etc. I’ve been fortunate enough to not have had to deal with major acne or skin issues, but have always dealt with under eye dark circles and crows feet. I like to think because I laugh a lot and spend lots of time outdoors 🙂 So because I wanna look forever young, these are my favorite products I’ve discovered so far that make me feel a tiny bit better about the aging process.

Nu Skin Glacial Marine Mud

This skin renewing estuary treasure helps exfoliate dead skin cells, remove skin contaminants, and rejuvenate damaged or troubled skin. It nurtures your skin with more than 50 beneficial minerals and trace elements, including zinc and sea botanicals.

Nu Skin donates $0.25 from every Epoch product sale to the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation.

Murad Nutrient- Charged Water Gel

Intensely hydrating oil-free water gel contains revolutionary Cumulative Hydration-Release Technology that instantly locks moisture to skin and increases retention for up to 5 days*. A nutrient-charged blend of peptides, vitamins and minerals strengthens the skin’s barrier for plump, smooth skin

Nu Skin Baobab Body Butter

This deliciously rich cream quenches your skin’s thirst with shea butter and the fruit of the African baobab tree. These time-tested ethnobotanicals promote smooth, supple skin that stays touchable soft all day—while enhancing skin resiliency for even softer skin tomorrow.

Dove Exfoliating Body Polish

Whipped, rich and fragrant, Dove Exfoliating Body Polish nourishes your skin as it exfoliates, so you’re left feeling soft and smooth after every shower.

Few things feel better than soft, smooth skin. You may have tried a lot of body scrubs to get it – but if you ask us, the secret to how to get smooth skin is a creamy touch and deep nourishment. That’s where Dove Exfoliating Body Polish comes in.

With a whipped texture and indulgent scents, our range of body exfoliators leave your skin renewed and nourished all at once. Enriched with our unique ¼ moisturizing cream, our Dove Exfoliating Body Polish gives a creamy coverage to buff away dull, dry skin, while nourishing the new layer underneath too.

Nu Skin Intensive Eye Complex Moisturizers

Maintain proper moisture levels in the delicate eye area to reflect a more youthful, vibrant appearance. This intense moisturizer enhances the skin’s natural ability to absorb and retain moisture, instantly softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Pixi by Petra Glow Tonic

Treat the sensitive skin on your face with the Skintreats Glow Tonic from Pixi. Glycolic acid gently exfoliates skin to reveal healthy, glowing skin underneath, while ginseng improves circulation to keep your skin looking great. Aloe vera soothes skin as you tone, preventing irritation that can come from exfoliating. This cruelty-free skin tonic is great for all skin types, and is paraben-free so you can feel good about what you’re using.

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

This is the ultimate daily face wash: use on dry skin to dissolve away makeup and grime, or on wet skin as you start your day. The pH-balanced, creamy gel formula is made with a blend of five skin conditioners so your face is left feeling healthy and soft, never tight. Its cleansing power comes from the same gentle cleaning agents found in contact lens solution, so it’s tough on impurities and still safe to use on your eyes. You’ll see.

Nu Skin Polishing Peel

Enjoy skin smoothing results clinically proven to be equivalent to a professional microdermabrasion session without ever leaving home. Polishing Peel features pumpkin enzymes to resurface, soften, and polish the skin and bentonite clay to remove dull skin cells and toxins

Comment with any questions or recommendations. I’m always looking for more ideas, because I’m planning to look 30 for the next 15 years. 🙂

  1. I like Dove and Glossier but NuSkin is meh and not exceptional imo. There are so many great and cheaper skin care products on Amazon. Before you buy anything, check out reviews on Google, Reddit, Amazon. Comparison shop, research company practices, lawsuits, etc. Check out the book ‘Merchants of Deception.’ MLMs like NuSkin are similar to Amway.

From another NuSkin customer on Reddit: “They’re a scam not because the products aren’t decent, but because of the way the products are super overpriced and the way they recruit people and convince them they can somehow make money off selling these products.”

    1. I like the NuSkin products because of how they’ve worked with my skin, they definitely might not be for everyone. No other reason. I haven’t compared them to other companies so they might be over priced and have a large marketing team behind them like others, but they’ve still worked for me. I appreciate the difference in opinion, and the interesting article 🙂
